Well, OpenSSL is installed. This all shows up as warnings. Qt.network.ssl QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSLv2_client_method The rest seems to be about Qt Default Installed Qt WebEngine locales directory not found at location /home/----/evelauncher...

Well, the launcher verifies the files now. (I transferred the whole /53 directory contents.) But now according to the log: evelauncherqt.network.sslQSslSocket: cannot resolve What else can I try?

I just returned to the game . Did not even know what to look for for most of the event. Then the missions had objectives that hardly appeared where I was active. All around this event was pretty much a fail for me.

There is also the How To for Ubuntu 14.04. That will answer a lot of questions. Another thing to try is upgrading your wine version to 1.9.11 I'm using Mint 17.2 and the Linux Launcher works quite well for me

I like this launcher. It worked quite well, other than the lack of sound. It did look like different version of wine was loaded. When I launched from my 'old' installation of Eve the sound worked. When launched from the new launcher no sound. Logs...

Ok, now the launcher goes to sleep when downloading the the SISI patch and spikes one of my cores to 200%. Is anyone else seeing this problem? Linux Mint 14 64bit AMD 8350 Nvidia gtx 560 Nvidia Driver 331.13 Wine 1.7.5

One thing I've found is that you may have to close and restart the launcher several times. After a couple of restarts the login and password fields appear (and the Play button). I'm running Linux Mint 14 with Cinnamon
